Privacy Policy

All personal data stays on your device by default. Tasks, habits, settings, and license keys are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB and Chrome Storage. We do not maintain a user account database and cannot read your goals or habits.

DGT uses a proxy server hosted on Cloudflare Workers at api.daily-goals-tracker.com. The following data is sent to this proxy:

• AI Advisor: Your active task names, completion rate, and time of day are forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API to generate productivity advice. This data is not stored by us.
• Background photos: A date seed is sent to fetch a daily photo from Unsplash. No personal data is included.
• Weather: Your city name (not raw coordinates) is sent to OpenWeatherMap. Coordinates are cached locally only.
• License validation: Your license key is sent for HMAC verification. No personal data is included.
• Stripe checkout: When purchasing Premium, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. We receive a payment confirmation but do not process or store card details.
• Daily email digest: If you enable it, your goals summary (task names, completion status) is sent to our proxy to compose and deliver the email via Resend.

Premium subscribers can enable cloud sync. When active, your tasks, habits, and settings are encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, keyed to your license key. This data is used solely to sync your extension across devices.

You can permanently delete your cloud backup at any time from the Account Portal using the "Delete Cloud Data" button. Local extension data is unaffected.

Premium subscribers receive a referral code derived from their license key. When someone signs up via your referral link, we record the attribution (a count stored against your code in our systems) and apply any earned reward to your subscription. No personal information about the referred user is shared with you.

• Google Tasks & Gmail: Uses Google OAuth. DGT accesses only the Tasks and Gmail scopes you grant. Your Google credentials are managed by the browser's identity API and never seen by DGT.
• Todoist: Your API token (which you provide) is stored locally and forwarded through our proxy to Todoist's API. We do not store your token on our server.
• Notion: Your integration token and database ID are stored locally and forwarded through our proxy. We do not store these on our server.

DGT does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking. We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports (unless you explicitly opt in to our Sentry integration), or behavioural telemetry of any kind.

All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the extension deletes all local data. Archived tasks older than 365 days are automatically pruned. Cloud sync data is deleted when you remove it from the Account Portal or cancel your subscription.

DGT does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The extension does not require an account and stores no personal data on our servers by default.

• Export: Export all your data as JSON from Settings → Data Management → Export Backup.
• Delete local data: Clear extension data in Chrome settings, or uninstall the extension.
• Delete cloud data: Use the "Delete Cloud Data" button in the Account Portal.
• Disconnect integrations: Revoke access at any time from Settings → Integrations.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above.
